With deep sorrow and total submission to the will of Allah, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Ijaodola family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Ilorin Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on the passing of an illustrious father, mentor, and legal luminary—Prof. Abdulrasheed Ijaodola, SAN.
Prof. Ijaodola, SAN was a man who lived on his own terms, charting a path of excellence in both academia and legal advocacy. His remarkable journey to the pinnacle of his career was marked by dedication, brilliance, and an unwavering commitment to the law. His legacy extends beyond his personal achievements, as he paved the way for a new generation of Ijaodolas, who continue to excel in various fields and institutions.
The timing of his departure in this sacred month is a solemn reminder of the divine order that governs our existence. I pray that Allah (SWT) grants him eternal repose and envelops him in His boundless mercy. May He also grant his family, friends, and colleagues especially those in the NBA Ilorin Branch the strength to bear this profound loss.
