Law graduates seeking entry to the Nigerian Law School are urging the federal government to reverse the recent increase in tuition fees due to the prevailing economic hardship in the country.

Graduates expressed concerns about financial constraints and the potential impact on their ability to participate in the mandatory one-year Law School program. Okechukwu Daniel, a graduate, highlighted the challenge of affording the nearly 500,000 Naira fee, appealing to the government to intervene and revert to the previous amount.

Additionally, graduates from Cross River State penned letters seeking financial assistance from prominent citizens to pursue their legal education amid economic challenges.

The House of Representatives had previously called for a halt to the fee increase, emphasizing the urgency of addressing the issue.
